The IMMOBILIZER KIT will include two brackets (in white or brown-depending on your crib color) that will be secured to the mattress support “arms” (Y brackets) using the bolts that attach the mattress support to the wood stabilizer bar. Stabilizer bars are the long narrow wooden pieces that attach the head and footboards The instructions that come with the IMMOBILZER brackets MUST BE FOLLOWED COMPLETLEY to ensure the continued safety of your crib and to avoid damage or injury. Please check the drop side hardware as well all other parts of the crib. You may need to remove the drop side first to see the tracks, pins and wheels.

1) When removing the drop side to check the parts, you must first remove the drawer if present, loosen the back (stationary side) bolts and the stabilizer bar bolts (front & back). If available, refer to the original instructions for installing the drop side & reverse the process. DO NOT try to remove the drop side by pulling it out. Before re-using the crib, make sure to re- tighten all screws. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

2) If replacement drop side tracks, wheels or pins are needed, ensure you order the exact item installed on your crib now. Plastic tracks are either screwed in and have raised letters “GEM”, or are pressured into the head and footboards. Refer to the pictures and instructions below
